Note 2: Let the Dial Indicator Point to the Ball Stylus of the Touch Probe, Not the Body of the Touch Probe.
It may be caused due to violent shipping or over-triggering, you can correct it by adjusting the concentricity by the set screws. if the tip was bent, you need to replace the tip and then adjust the concentricity.
